I ordered a set of Boxster axles. The come complete to the splined stub. Lets see if any of these parts will offer another option.

I used 993 axles with the 6-aoewd.transmission. They fit into the 911 hubs, and the bolted to the transmission with no issues.

944 front hubs won't work on a 914. No bearings available and the offset is completely wrong.

@montreal914
maybe your 911axles will work. wiuld need th compare the lenght.

It was cheaper to purchase complete Boxster axles than it was to purchase one CV Joint.

Because they come complete I wanted to see what the splined ends, diameter and length look like also. I still have 914-4 drilled read hubs. Boxster inboard & 914-4 outboard. I will end up with a combo of some sort.

I was thinking if the Boxster axle is larger and possibly longer in diameter and length I could have it re-splined.
