I drove it 5 hours to Seattle. Last night i installed ingmans new fuse board upgrade. Man that was easy. So nice to not have to screw with those old crappy fuses. Now i just need to get another one for my v8 conversion..

... Last night i installed ingmans new fuse board upgrade. Man that was easy. ... I'll install my Engman fuse panel when I remove the driver seat to install a new pull handle. Glad to hear it's an easy job (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

If the key we in the right place, I wouldn't turn it into a clone. So... I beg to differ. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hung my rear suspension, installed side and rear glass, ran a majority of my wiring harness, Seatbelt bar, odds and ends bolted on.
Front suspension pending tie rods and tightening. Robert came by and installed the mega squirt harness and did final measures on othe engine electronics. Next weekend final cradle for motor and final test fit before powder coating. |

I drove it to work today too.
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) One week on the road after 5 years or so of off and on resto and not one leak or hitch! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Now I think that I am going to kick it up a notch and start driving her like she was meant to be driven. For $12 and super easy clean up, this stuff did a respectable job cleaning the built up oil stains on my garage floor. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

Had my little "shifter linkage bushing replacement adventure" Saturday, as documented over in this thread: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=187814
Working better than before, despite being kludged up. At least now I know what needs to be done, that it isn't fixing the other issue, and that I should focus on rebuilding/replacing the half shafts first anyway... |

Stopped by Joe Sharp's on Sunday to repair his LM-1. One of his neighbors had this nifty 'FREE' workbench sitting at the curb.
I snagged it and hauled it to the house ... screwed some wheels to the bottom this morning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Also, wire brushed and primed some pieces of 'angle iron' for the blast cabinet's dolly. Why do they call it iron?, it's steel (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Blasted and primed some '6' tin parts ... and put a deposit on this (7'x16' with a 3' v-nose) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif) Should be delivered on Saturday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif) |
