Took the '71 to the big monthly P car C&C in old town Scottsdale. One other 914 there and probably every GT3RS ever made, along with one silver 959...

Won't be doing much tomorrow with the cars. F1 late tonight, and then need to root on our Hawkeyes in the NCAA finals! Have to admit I'm new to women's BB but it's hard not to watch Iowa...

the fuel return line spewed fuel all over the garage floor. so I pulled th tank and replaced all the stock fuel lines with new stuff. Fired it back up and it ran great!! Today I drove it to work, man I have a love hate relationship with that car...LOL |

I have been waiting on a Pertronix for the factory six for a few weeks. They keep showing up missing the mounting plate.
I had previously replaced the oil thermostat, and pulled the distributor to install the pertroinx. Last night I put it back together with the old points so we can take it to cars and coffee tomorrow morning. So nothing exciting. |

Replaced the upper steering column bearing, which I had 'repaired' in the past with one of the 928 repair sleeves but had finally given up the ghost.
Not too bad a job but I was lucky as the old bearing came out with the repair sleeve. One of those jobs I'd been putting off for ages and finally got round to.
