Replaced my points, Stalled a bit as I was driving yesterday. i checked my dwell, It was way off from what they were set to a few days ago.
As I tried to reset, by the time I do timing, it was off again.

Replaced them and ran great.
...
Paul, have you thought about a Pertronix or similar electronic trigger? ... you'll never have to adjust or replace the points again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Congrats on the restoration (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) Looks nice ... and yep, sounds like you did it in record time, compared to how long it takes some old folks around here (I won't mention any names) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
I resemble that remark! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)
Actually Joe, I was referring to that 'euro' guy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I met up with Enrique and his beautiful cousin, Gabriella (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) this evening after the LB Grand Prix ... took delivery of a set of new PMB rear brake calipers and rotors for my wife's car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Did I mention Gabriella? ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shocked[1].gif)

Mark, I have , the only thing stopping me is the fact that you can't leave the ingnition on if the engine is not running. With my luck, I will burn one every other day.

Yeah, I have the same fear and thinking about keeping a spare dizzy in the trunk, just in case.

My stereo system is wired through the ignition switch, but I'd like to listen to it without the engine running, so I may reconnect it to a constant voltage source.

However, in another vehicle, I've forgotten to turn 'stuff' off and woken up to a dead battery a few times (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Maybe a better idea is to install a dash-mounted toggle switch in the ignition circuit. This would keep from powering up the Pertronix with the key in the 'on' position and the stereo would power off when I remove the key (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Anybody else think the factory should have installed an ignition switch with an accessory position? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

As a member here pointed out and it make sense, why not just carry a set of point I. The glove, much cheaper . At least I mastered that and I can replace a point In less than 10 minutes .

Installed this small amp with i-pod/phone input into my car.

Great sound with a set of 6.5" speakers & cheap!

Next to install awesome looking Bruce rebuilt pedals (once I get the missing pedal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) )
