Some one cut a small section of pipe so the donut fit the ID. He notched the pipe to fit over the top of the jack stand.

I think I'll use 1 1/2 or 2 inch pipe and maybe also bolt them onto the top of my modified Harbor Freight aluminum jackstands. I have already made them safer by drilling holes and adding a pin to backup the cam lock adjustment.  |
