Nice car.
The Feb. Excellence has a 911 sedan that is in the spirit of your project. Chick Iverson also had a VW bug sedan. Would a 944 sedan look like a Panamera? |

We reached the cleanup & patch phase. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
Today, we removed the mid section of the center tunnel. It'll be replaced with a custom (removable) version. It'll be nice to be able to access everything inside the tunnel in the center section of the car. We'll have to run all custom cables, wires and fuel-lines etc.. The new tunnel will be narrower and lower than the stock tunnel. We also patched the sides of the floorpan. The mid-section requires some creative metal bending. We'll add that next weekend. The rest of the day was spent cleaning up and prepping the side sections around the inside of the targa bar to door post transition. That part will also be patched in next weekend. No.1, girl in purple on the pole needs a wax or shave.
N0 2, HD channel just showed a Ferrari Medina(?) Limo. They have Gull wing doors for the center section, and race seats with 5 point harness stacked behind each other. I took some pics, will look for a link , however. Interesting take. |

I'm gonna stop calling it a limo, cause a real limo would be built completely differently I think you are WRONG (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limousine (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Andy Novelty limousines Sometimes an "inappropriate" vehicle is converted, simply for the novelty. Hummer vehicles have been converted. Another novelty conversion is the East German Trabant which was designed for a low manufacturing cost and incorporated body panels made from a rag fiber and plastic resin material. Volkswagen Beetles, Fiat Pandas and Citroen 2CV vehicles are occasionally stretched into limousines. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
