For $50+ you guys can buy a real part (albeit small) for your real 914. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
I confess I own the Revell 1:18 914 blue, but I don't see going smaller than this. Just no detail in the :43 - :87 sizes, they get lost on your shelves. |

Not to be a Christmas Grinch, but I don't see the point of your posting if you don't like the Matchbox 914. Many of us grew up with Matchbox & HotWheels cars and the fact that Matchbox came out with a 914 kind of validates the love we have for these cars. Now they are coming out with more colors ( probably because we are buying so many) which is cool. Some like myself have modified & painted these Matchbox.
I also disagree with your point about no detail in 1:43 scale cars. Many of my 43s have very good detail and they are much easier to display than larger models. T.C. |

They make great Christmas tree ornaments too! That's awesome! A Teener Christmas! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) WOAH; Is that a Klingon Warbird approching the 914!? No.... It's ok the Warbirds is being out flanked by the Enterprise! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I really want a yellow one. All I have seen is green in the store. |

I've seen packs of 5 cars, none are 914's. I've seen multi-car packs of about 10 cars with the "yellow" 914 as the exclusive (only in the 10-pack) car.

I got that ten pack with the yellow 914 for Christmas. Might grab a pic later if there isn't one in this thread already. I never could find a dark green, blue or orange one. |

Orange hasn't hit the US yet, Gint. If you want a dark green one, send your address in a PM and I'll drop one in the mail. I have plenty.

The ornament was just the car with a wire around the wheel to hang it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Not pic worthy, and not hanging from her but like the last ones (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
