Looked again last night at Walmart, Kmart, Target. Very few Match box cars at Wallmart and Kmart, zero at target. Looks like Target is waiting for a shipment all over the US.

I checked Target, Toy's R Us and Walmart at Fair Lakes yesterday. Nothing. I did see the Karmann Ghia cabriolet and the good Dr's Prius. There were 2010 models on the hooks.

I (actually my wife) struck gold this morning, at Walmart in Danvers, MA. They had none in stock two days ago when I last checked... only two though..

Nothing at Target in College Park, Md. But I did find 2 orange Corvettes, a blue VW Thing, and a custom '53 Caddy with a Soap Box Derby racer in the back (all these are Hot Wheels).

Cool, now that I know Walmart somewhere has then, I'll have to find one near me to check.

If anyone in the local DC area finds some, buy them up and you'll have a buyer in me, for sure....seeing as it matches my car!

Dude,
every walmart or target I go to is cleaned out of Matchbox cars. I was in Washington, PA and stopped into their walmart and targets and Hot Wheels were in stock and full, but Matchbox were empty. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I did score a nice Hot wheels VW thing, though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The collectors (resellers) of Matchbox are grabbing everything in the first few rounds of shipments (probably for eBay) - the madness will settle down and we should get what we want - at least I am hoping.

It is bizarre - even my local grocery store is wiped out.

My local Walmart (San Jose, Tully rd) has about 100 Matchbox cars, but no 914. Checking to see if the lot they have are the same as the 914.

From the release list on page 1. None of the other cars mentioned in this release were present either. I can go further to the matchbox site and see if these cars were from the previous release.
