Finished a few changes. Hi Ben, Hey I'm looking into buying a wildfire exotic lift. I see you own a wildfire. How has it been working out for you ? Which style did you end up buying? Thanks, Luke, I bought it about 2-3 years ago. It is awesome and super stable. Mine raises up to 74” under neath at full lift(pretty sure I remember that right) and 78” to the top of the deck. It’s a ws9000 with air over hydraulic jack tray which is a must if your going to work on your car as well. I use the lift for my car, boxes for shipping and shelving for my oil tanks etc. |

I'll place the order once my new garage is close to being built. Take care. |

I have owned a few and this is fabricated to an extremely high standard more so than some of the mainstream names. |

Put some “rebuilt” fuel injectors in today. Put the protective pan on under the front suspension as the fuel pump sits on the crosser member. I may have to mess with that some more. I need to find better hardware. New driver side window is the next project then some tuning next week

It’s getting so close to driving again. Got the wiring all figured out and all the sensors working for the ms2. So far very happy with the EFI conversion

Well regular failed after some testing ordered a new one. I fixed the horn today which has never worked so excited about that. Ordered new springs as the rear was sagging a bit

I need to get a better magnet case for my phone so it stays up there better Kind of a highjack, for which I apologize. Several times now I have had my expensive Apple phone set up like that to give me directions. Not my style but it works. On a few occasions I have been trying to find some place during a teener event using the hey siri approach, only to get a message saying sorry I have to shut down because I am too hot. Look for your destination on your right. Somewhere. At some distance. Or it might be left. I am shutting down. The phone is sitting in the sunlight with display lit and processing. Not knowing where the heck I am in a strange place looking for something too small for the road atlas leaves me between frustrated and panicked, depending on the size and proximity of the pickup truck behind me. |

That’s a great point. I really just wanted this for videos of short drives etc. |

I'm planning a "dock" for mine.
In the console. It will be my "head unit" for the stereo and have charging capabilities. It will be "locked in" with positive retention on 4 sides. One thing I LEARNED at my very first SOLO event. If there is ANYTHING lose in the car it will end up hitting you at some point in the run... Change can be dangerous! Now, my mounting position won't work for camera use. After thinking about "hot phone syndrome" it wouldn't be hard to add a little vent through the ash tray adaptor for a 1/2" AC vent. Your car would have to have AC. I live in HELL! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) All of my cars have AC... Edit Congrats to Ben for a successful "return to service" on your car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif) I'm envious of the dog. I'd want you to HAMMER it and he wouldn't... Enjoy the hell out of it! |

I'm interested in if that will work when it's stupid cold.
I prefer to adjust "warm up" type of stuff below 50 degrees. Even better if you're below 32 which is rare for me but won't be for you. Is it going to be a 3 or 4 season car? If it's going to hibernate it won't matter... |

I think Ben puts away his 914 in the winter. WI isn’t just cold, it’s snowy.
