I'll be back there by 10:00 this morning.
I hope to fill the holes and S-T-R-E-T-C-H the rear fenders and fit the 225's. Here's how I stretched the fenders to the limit.
Port-a-Power! I cut a 2x4 with the same profile of the inside of the fender and used hydrolic power to bring the fender lip to 11.25" from the inner fender well. Check this out. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif) Attached image(s)

I put a 4x8 along the length of the inner. It didn't seem to deflect at all.
Also hammer and dollied the fender lip flat. Attached image(s)

I was very happy with the results. One of the fasteners that connects to the rocker panel made a pop noise! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)
It shouldn't need to much hammer work at all. The profile looks pretty natural to me. No heat used. KT Attached image(s)
