Side markers are also done and I took my welder back home tonight. I finished it all today (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)


Also, the filled channels have 1/8" steel rod stock hammered into the slot just below the surface. I welded each side of the gap to the rod. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif)

Monday will be a Bondo fest.

I cut a 2x4 with the same profile of the inside of the fender and used hydrolic power to bring the fender lip to 11.25" from the inner fender well.

There are some areas on the trunks and doors that have bubbles.

Those places will get the most aggressive prep work.
The rest will be a goof scuff before the epoxy primer/sealer goes on.

Also, any areas where I find cracking old bondo get the bare metal treatment.

Power sanders and 36/40 grit are my friend.
