Interesting car....kind of like it.
Don't see functional scoops up in the targa sail panels all that much. |

I like the integrated front bumper/dam/splitter. I haven't seen that one before, probably a one off? Anyone know who made it?

I always thought the bumper on that car was cool. I believe he was on here at one time with username Retrotech or something similar.

In one word, WOW.
Interesting design choice to keep the chrome fog light grills when the only other chrome are the door pulls. Contrast can be a good thing. |

Stephen passed away this Spring. Great guy, RIP. He did (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) He always posted this or that about the car but never really showed us any good photos of the progress. Im glad it looks like he was able to complete it before he passed its a fantastic looking car! |

Looks like a fun, personalized custom build... I wonder if those 'ram' air intakes on the sail panels are truly functional/effective?

Looks like a fun, personalized custom build... I wonder if those 'ram' air intakes on the sail panels are truly functional/effective? I wonder also...they remind me of some of the scoops seen on 904s. The intakes seen below were noted as very effective (I remember something about "too effective") in an article in VW & Porsche (or EC) back in the day. Wonder if that's true... Bummer to hear about Steve, as it always is. We are here but for a timeā¦glad he was able to have some fun along his road, and that blue car screams FUN if nothing else. Attached image(s) |
