I know this car and most of it's history.
In fact I almost bought it several years ago. If you are seriously considering it I will be happy to help in any way I can. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2415363990 |

Wow, that's almost my dream car. I wonder what the deal with the picture of the car in some kind of dirt floor barn (the car is really dirty too). Weird sales tactic.
Vegas, give us any other info you got on the car. |

I notice the vehicle has a reserve and he wants a 10% of purchase price as a down payment. It also says minimum down payment $1,800.00. Does that mean his reserve is $18,000.00?

The car was put together by a guy who ran a body shop. Most of the mechanical work was done by 'Porschaus' now know as 'Carls Place'. (A great shop when Carl was around)
When the Richard in Ely bought it @ 5 years ago, it looked great. The last time I saw the car was 2 years ago, and it was no longer the car I remembered. (notice the date stamp in the first photo) It might be back to the way it was, but it had not been well cared for the last time I saw it. Since the car is here in Vegas, I will check it out in person later today and report my findings. |

I made a few calls. The car is in Vegas but it is not parked where I thought it would be. I talked to the people at 'Carls Place' and the car was in for service two months ago and they gave me the thumbs up regarding it's current condition. I do know for sure that the 3.0 conversion was done right the first time.
