So I was searching the forum for info on the Valentine 1 radar detector, turning up a thread about Sir Andy's speeding. There I came upon a reference to this 2005 thread about Sir Andy's peeing, and absurdly read through the whole thing. Then I wasted even more time writing this post.

And you just wasted your time reading it.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

P.S. Remember to thank your admins for providing a place to learn about their criminal history and to comment on it. And don't pee in public. Or at least try not to get caught.

1st, respect the law. They write these laws for a reason beyond the fines.
A good idea is to carry an empty soda pop bottle in the car with you.
When the urge happens, fill it up in your car and later dispose of it properly at home.
No matter the time of day, in 2005 and forward, somebody is probably going to be watching you/me/us/them/all.
My guess is it must be one of those traffic light type cameras that are now being used in all areas of all cities. Not being paranoid. It was in the local paper telling how most major cities in America are using hidden camera to watch public places for signs of terrorism and/or those engaged in any unlawful acts. Some call it spying on the public. How else did they just happen up on you? However, in SF, gmaybe they have a lot of that exposure thing going on and is a good source of continuing revenue.
Could have been worse. Maybe someone who wasn't a policeman.

Mike

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I think using a old plastic water bottle, then leaving it on the side of the road works too.

It's been hot here, so I tell the lad not to pee in the same spot or near the buildings...and mom's flower garden is OK, but not on the vegetable garden.

In Minnesota in the winter you could use the Free Speech Defense. "I was writing with piss your honor. Protesting the high sales taxes in San Francisco..." Not sure how that would work in SF though... No snow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Ya andy, after five years it's time to let the cat out of the bag. And it's a good thing it wasn't the urinating/masturbating in public ticket. You'd be registered now!

You were in the very wrong place at the wrong time. Mission from 15th to 24th has always been a bad stretch for all kinds of stuff including, nowadays, gang activity. So you will see a higher police presence and stricter enforcement.

Now add to that, I am not sure if you still have a mohawk and wear cut offs, military boots, etc., (not that there is anything wrong with any of that) but officers aren't going to take the time to get to know you, they tend to operate more on judging the book by the cover, so....

regardless you still will get off with just a fine and that's it because it is a Municipal code and not a penal code violation. If I were you I would just suck it up and pay the ticket. Regardless of how desolate you thought the alley was, it obviously was not as the cop was there. He cut you a break by writing the MPC section and not 314 PC which some cops do.

Next time pee some where else. Really how would you feel if your home or business backed up to that alley and people were always peeing in it? The homeless people have taken this whole thing to a completely insane level as they pee and poop every where and do not care who sees them. Blame the homeless for this one, and correctly so.

And sorry you got a ticket. If they would have spent the time to talk to you I am sure they would have just said zip it and get out of here.
