My Camera literally died. I just sent it back to Nikon today.

Next week will be base primer. I'll try to get another camera to snap some pics with. Troy is working on straightening the sides. Final body prep here we come. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

Thanks for steppin in Eric.

Nasty day at work today. It doesn't help when they start talking about firing the biggest slacker - amongst 14 people who are to busy to slack much at all anyway - to "motivate" the others, it isn't a good idea to be surfing 914world.com on the job.

I haven't seen it myself since two weekends back. Troy has taken a few insurance jobs to pay the bills also. I keep telling him, The longer it takes you to finish, the better my chances of decent weather to haul it back home. So no rush."

It's gettin there. There will lots of updates to this thread when it gets close to done.

Looks great!!!

This may have been asked in 22 pages of posts so please excuse me but what did you use to strip the shell of the old paint and primer?

Is the paint you used a single stage or a clear-coat?

Dipped and epoxy primed immediately afterwards. Single stage. If you want any more detail than that, you're gonna have to go look at the first 22 pages. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
