weenies...it's 31º in Bawlmer right now and I'm getting ready to take the Harley out. No windshield, but I do have Gerbings. Think I'll use them in the 914 if I do the Dragon with ya'll.
The average Temp for those dates is in the 50's. Everyone put the heat exchangers back on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blowtorch.gif) |

As Paris Hilton would say, that's hot.
Normally I rely on the prodigious heat shedding capacity of the Corvette for winter cruises... don't know if I'll take it out today because of the salt on the roads though. |

Hell, I did my 4 mile run yesterday (in the rain / snow) in shorts. Cold rocks, warm blows. Zach |

So this is a PCA event, not a 914 event? What did it matter if it conflicted with Red Rocks? The participation level will be higher from the part of the country where the event is scheduled.
The fact that you are putting together a PCA event and not involving the Local regions is weird. It would be like scheduling an event @ Sebring and not contacting my region. T.C. |

The fact that you are putting together a PCA event and not involving the Local regions is weird. It would be like scheduling an event @ Sebring and not contacting my region. T.C. The Mid US Ramble is primarily a 914 event, as it is sponsored by by the 914 SIG. Now the SIG is part of PCA. So in reality it is both a 914 event and a PCA event. We try not to conflict with any scheduled 914 event, then any PCA event in the local region. Unfortunately, in this case, we ended up with an issue of we interfere with one or the other. So now we are left with a choice of which? I chose to make our event available to all the 914 people. Plus, September is too early in the year for what we are doing. October is the traditional month for the Mid US Ramble. Bob.. we did not intentionally try to cut you out of the loop. We honestly thought you had given us all the scheduled events for your region. And Don is the person who is working on the hotel scheduling, and frankly that is a tough thing to do. I would love to have you and Nadine there with us. If you can come up with a date in October, where we are not interfering with a local PCA event, and we can find a hotel has an opening, the we can change it. Nothing is set in stone yet. |

Just be damn sure you avoid Saturdays for the jews and Sundays for the Christians.

Please do not plan on any mondays through fridays either. It conflicts with us workin folk. So to make this clear no monday- friday no saturdays, and no sundays. Please feel free to schedule any remaining days for the event. Oh and I will be getting a haircut on that jaxday, so if you could avoid it as well.

Is that a hint? A fugly post-modern semi truck is going to trailer all of our 914's down to Tail of the Dragon?
