Another bright spot in Buttercup's life was Elissa's visit home this week. She hasn't seen Buttercup since the build, or gone for a ride in her! Unfortunately it has been rainy and ugly today for pictures, so we didn't venture far and were cut short by showers. We had the top off! Couldn't wait to share some photos, and the news that Elissa actually got to drive her, with only one lesson on a standard transmission she did really well! It was such fun--- Thanks so much to all of you!

Are those yellow shoes Lizard is wearing? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Yes, but she wasn't wearing those when she drove Buttercup!

I had to scrub bugs off when I got home, but she is little enough it didn't take very long! I even did the wheel wells, the sprinklers got us a couple of times. The kids thought that was great fun having the top off.
She sounds SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good, on a pretty day like today I could have kept going, and going, and going................ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'll never forget that I am the lucky one, the one who had all of 914world making sure that I would get to drive her. It never would have happened otherwise.......

I am still mailing out DVDS...............the list of people on World that gave parts and support is a MILE LONG. So if you haven't received one, it may already be on it's way, or it may be sitting on my desk because I ran out of boxes and need to go get some more.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you want one. I would be happy to send one to anyone who wants a copy. Just PM me your snail mail address.
THANKS!

Thanks Mary! Cheryl, the kids, and I got together and watched it over the weekend. It was really fun to watch. We're really proud of you and your family for seeing things through and resurrecting Lee's car. Thanks again!
