Im going to re-paint,,, was going to be this weekend, but it just got real cold,,,, I'll try heating the garage, otherwise we start that next weekend..

aftermarket computer,,, stinger
electronic dash
Half of the stock stuff gone

It made the most sense,, We will wire it like the harness asks for vs trying to copy the porsche design..

I like the idea of your hood. I'm concerned that you don't have enough surface area open for proper cooling. You may need more louvers. calculate the square area open side of the louvers. subtract the square area of your opening. You need a 2:1, exhaust:intake for proper air flow. That way you create negative pressure on the outlet side of your radiator.

I will, but we have done some checking and over all i think we have overestimated the amout of flow needed.. small four cylinder when at rest with a nascar radiator!! We are starting out with no thermosat but a restrictor plate.. the louvers are about 3x1x46.. worst case my backup will be a large vented hood like som other high horse power v8 have done.. or a few more louvers..thanks I love the questions,,,keeps me thinking..by the front opening is about 4x18...

Why no thermostat? Are you worried it will take forever to get warmed up properly?

Greg, its looking great so far!

I however agree you need about 2x what you have in terms of louvers...

The total area of your louvers is about how big my total opening size is on my hood...

I hav a restrctor plate from outback... They seem to feel that will be fine..if not I can alwasy go to one...Its not exactly cold here much and I"m thinking of having a hand throttle like the -6's have for those cold morning occasions.. I:m putting the hand brake in the console and can use one of the heat leavers for the throttle
(911 hand brake)

Where did you source the turbo cover? Looks good! I've been looking for a good turbo cover to keep the heat down, still haven't found anything I'm too excited about.

I'm using an air to water intercooler too. I haven't decided where to put the radiator. Did you run hoses up front? I have to run an oil cooler with my rotary. Not sure how many hoses I want to run forward. I may rig a small radiator in the rear fender well for the intercooler.
