Good job, Trekkor! - I love to get some of that the free track you had - was that with Trackmasters? GGR last time was busy at Sears - still a lot of fun - but also quite a bit of traffic

Kumho 710's. Did it look wet to you? It was dry all day except for 15 mins. KT |

The shiney areas on the track "looked wet" and from the speed you were running I was guessing you weren't on Hoosiers! Are you going to run the Coastal Driving event at Buttonwillow in April? |

Pretty Cool Trekkor!
I'll post a vid of Fritz at the Sears Point Time Trial last month sometime tonight. I have a few clips where one guy goes a little hot into turn 4 and goes 4 wheels off. I wasn't pushing him too bad, but in an earlier session the guy would not let me by him the whole session.....I'd show him the car in his mirrors then back off and make a run in a passing zone and the guy would not let me by....until he went off track! As Hank Watts says - If another car keeps showing up in your mirrors, then that car is faster than you ---do the courteous thing and wave him by. Amazing how many times you can show up in someones mirrors and they don't do anything. |

I love to watch the facial expressions on the 911 crowd when Hank gets even more specific and says "Yes... if a 914 keeps showing up in your mirrors, then that car is faster than you, let it by and it will disappear in the next set of corners" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap56.gif) |

Trekkor is never going to hear the end of our tuanting regarding getting some more tire under his six. 5 lugs and vented rotors on all four corners installed on my car today. I gots brakes! Fenders are being installed as I write this post. Car might be finnished paint and all late next week. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) I have intially decided to go with big fat DOT tires just because I got a deal on some used Kuhmo Victoracers. 265's in the rear and 225's in the front. Once I wear those out I'll probably go to slicks. |
