It would be about an hour by caravan from my shop to the top. Those from the Delta/ Conta Costa area could go home a different way. South Bay and Peninsula people would just go back down the mountain and hit HWY 680. Great photo ops at the top, much like Mt. Hamilton.

Just so people know Diablo would definitely be a "cruise" compared to other road tours we've done. There will be lots of cyclists, slow moving vehicles, and park rangers to contend with on a Saturday morning. There are incredible views at the top though.

Of course all driving laws will be followed. This is in no way a race or is anyone encouraged to drive in an unsafe manner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) . Yes, a little busier than Mines road, but the payoff at the top is worth it!
