Yup everywhere it's coming up teeners.
Last night as the clock struck midnight the weather channel announced IVAN dropped to 914 milli bars. of course the day is 9/14 and my 914 was sitting outside. Topped off with gas and ready to roll. 9 windows on mother in laws house 14 on mine (no not really) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) We have a few things yet to clear up and load up we are out of here. Going west, Batton rouge, to Laffeyette and Shreiveport La. any farther and I might as well go to KALIFORNIA. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) |

Happy 9/14 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)
Nothing under the tree from Santa Porsche this morning. I guess I have been bad. That said, I have had definite inspiration from this website in the past few months and I have accomplished more in the short time since I joined 914club than in the past 5 years. Thanks guys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Maybe I will roll up the garage door and let the sun shine on the teener this afternoon. |

I have mixed emotions about this day. Not to bring everyone down but it was 14yrs ago today that my Father passed away. He would have loved my 914 and all the car events we have.
It is a beautiful day today and I am taking the 914 to get flowers then to the cemetery. Hope I didn't bring you all down. |

Thankfully today isnt as tragic for me, but the month of September has similar sentiments for myself. 5 days ago my grandfather passed away. Also in this month 4 years ago my other grandfather passed away, as well as my grandmother 5 years ago. (my other grandmother passed away in mid august 5 years ago). and I go back to school in september... needless to say september is a crappy month. |

We can get some of the local 914 group together. |

Not nearly as tragic, but...
My wife found out today that she'll be laid off within the next 6 months. All of my 914 plans are on indefinite hold. FFC, 914/6 resto, etc... |
