We have a 73' 1.7 motor we are going to take up to a 2.0...Should we change the Heat Exchangers to the 2.0 style...
I seem to remember someone here saying that the 2.0 tubes were larger...Therefore better breathing for the exhaust ... 2-OH! |

If ya get the stainless ones made by SSI....they are all the same tube size.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) with Mikey. If you use the SSI ones they are the same inner diameter. The OEM 1.7 HEs are smaller so don't use them but I don't know if its 5 hp.
