We need awards.

Categories?

Style of awards?

Person in charge: ME, since I already said I would do this.

There have been some kick ass awards. The best one have been made from 914 parts. Jakeodule make some kick ass one out of Tranny gears. They were awesome. Plaques are great but still unique is the best

These are the categories I came up with.

Best of Show Peoples Choice

Most Original

Best Conversion

Roughest Project Best in Progress

Longest traveled

Any others, any you don't like, better names?

So my understanding is the awards are for the car show, and vendor donations will be used as Poker run prizes, etc?

Edited: better?

Best interior is a good one.

I kind of like seperating the conversions. Best Porsche conversion, Best NARP conversion or something like that.

I think something for the coolest customization. For interior or just something someone did that took a little though & looks great (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Had some time today, mocked up the awards. Need to find somewhere to get them brazed together or borrow the setup from someone.

I can make 4 of these. going to have engraved plates made to attach to each one for the different categories.

Attached Image

This one I thought would be for Best of Show.. peoples choice.

Only had enough parts for 5 awards, so I guess 5 categories.

Got the matchbox cars for the trophies, found all of them from one vendor, only $20 for all 5 shipped. Classic awards is doing the engraving for the plates to put on them for $3.50 ea, so about $40 for the 5 trophies.
