I just got off the phone with the guy. Nice guy, great photographer. I am going to look at the car tomorrow morning. He has 3 of them. Looks like we will be getting a new member out of this too. He is interested in going to the WCC.

Here is a picture of the car he is keeping.

He has 3 cars, one for sale right now with no engine but otherwise complete, he has another complete one he maybe selling in the near future that is complete and the Green one he is keeping. He said his girlfriend wants him to sell the other one but he is resisting. I saw a picture of his girlfriend, I would bet he will most likely be selling it. She is a hottie.

Its not as bad as you may think. Aarons car is a weekend job. The Chalon doesnt need all that much either. Its just a matter of getting in there and doing it.

Well, at this point, if the car is a good solid car with minimal rust, I wont be parting it out, I will be restoring it for a daily driver. He has a couple of them down there so I wont know the full story till I see them and talk to him. If it is a rust bucket, I will try to pick it up cheap and of course, part it out. In which case, Craig will get first shot at what he needs since he is the one who found the car. Its only fair.

How long does it take to weld? Maybe a couple of hours tops for his fender. I looked at it and its not that bad.

I think I know that green car! Seen it at some of the SoCal gatherings--probably Dunkel's at some point or another... Maybe also a D&G swap meet?
