I'm guessing the shafts are original. The cv joints were replaced 20 years ago and then I stopped driving the car right after that. I had them pulled apart and inspected by my machinist and then he pressed them back on with new boots.
Wouldn't have done all this if I had realized I needed different axles for the new hubs. |
