Hi guys
As a part of GT parts I am lunching soon in the next months I have made the GT door panels My question The door panel have a brass Bezel for the leather strap I have recreated this bezel to org. specs its made out of brass on the 2nd picture ( no idea why the pix got mixed up :-) On the top you can see a org bezel the row of 6 bezelĀ“s are mine reproduction , they are acid dipped to get the Patina look as original. on the 3rd row on the left, I have tried to zinc one in black but it got some purple /black gasolin colors that the zinc method leaves on right side is the raw brass one My question is ,in what finish do I make these I have search for a way to get these black paint is not a option you cant anodize brass Or are the Patina ones good enough ! this is the finish I have seen on org cars looking forward to hear your guys input Marek Attached thumbnail(s) Attached image(s) |
