For that period correct look, coco mats do the trick.
The first picture is the Sahara Beige car interior. The second picture is the interior of my 1972 911T (check out the Recaro's). Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |

Yes, Cocomats are great. Darned near bulletproof. Really nice guys at their company, too.
But if you get the colored "dots" in the mat... keep them out of direct sunlight, because it'll fade. The black is guaranteed not to fade, but the red/blue/etc colors WILL fade out over time. I actually keep mats OVER my Cocomats to keep them nice. -Rusty (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smoke.gif) |

Beautiful. VERY nice! Period! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
Thanks for sharing. Brings back memories of my ol' 69 911E that had coco's. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) As I understand, the new mats are way superior to the old ones. I remember mine eventually curled up like a taco. This picture is from when my stereo was stolen... but it shows the mats nicely. I think it was pre-Rennshifter. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)
