Here is a replacement of the leak prone OE stamped steel sender assembly or an option for those cars without one, on your 914!
One piece, made of thick billet aluminum ...very nice!

UPDATE:
I realize I've never advised that both the Assembly now come with a boot to enclose the sender cavity to ensure stable temperature of the sender & keep it unaffected by any air movement. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

According to your website, it shows these as back ordered. I am interesting in purchasing the billet plate, along with OE (preferred) temp sender, the boot, associated gaskets and hardware.
