Sadly, it's one of the nicest cars I've seen BHHC try to sell. They're kind of legendary for "good candidate for restoration".

The paint almost looked like it was applied with a roller? I guess one of it's previous colors was red?

Is it legal to sell cars like that? Serious question.

Its legal to sell, but could have some liability attached for the seller. Unless it's a parts car only, but that's not the representation.

I don't know how these guys don't get sued out of business.

"The Porsche has a lot of potential and is mechanically sound." While it may have potential, mechanically sound is clearly false. How they can put that in writing and ask for $8950 speaks to the kind of folks that you'd be dealing with. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

That is awesome, looks like you clean up a few spots and weld on legs, attach a few caster. 914 frame bench, now just cut the rest of that tub away, and put the car your restoring on it.

That is expensive for steel tube, but hey, do they really sell this things, or is the business really a front for some other purpose?

And I have not seen that solution before. I have seen the wood version, and the 1/4 plate version. But not that. A+ for ingenuity some one most have really wanted that car to appear solid.

"It comes equipped with a manual transmission and alloy wheels. This is a very presentable car which will only need some light cosmetics. The Porsche has a lot of potential and is mechanically sound. For $8,950"

Rear trunk looks sketchy too.

As does the front... Looks like the car sat in dirt for years. Someone 20 years ago decided to slap something together to keep it running and then threw a $500 paint job on the car.

I'll say this.. The gaps are not the worst ive seen and if it runs it runs...

I wouldnt kick it out of bed as a means of transportation...

Oh my gosh... I pray that some rookie 914er doesn't come along and get scammed. Let's just paint everything green... Should be parted out.
