Hi guys - 914Rubber has some of these and my lack of skill on installing them has me wondering how best to install them?
I'm sure someone here has figured it out, and I paid more than what @Mikey914 is asking, so probably a deal to be had on buying one of theirs. My M/C works great as an FYI, functionally they are great. |

Remove the reservoir clamp and pull the lines down as far as possible from underneath. This gives you a little more access to install the lines. With the grommets installed on the supply lines I use a small screw driver and go around each rubber grommet pushing it down into the hole of the MC. I usually have to go around each grommet several times and do it in stages. Too much force and you can poke through the rubber grommet. Install isn't too bad. Its not fun but once you know how to do it, it can go pretty quick.

Ian Carr did a really good installation video for the threaded
But the process is similar, just more swearing as you pull the lines with rubber onto the body of the unit. Do not forget the washers under the rubber inlets. We include these with our factory style version. https://youtu.be/N6ZHK5f_9bE |

I lightly lubed the flare on the metal tubing with the Permatex Brake Parts Lube
I had no issues pushing the flare into the rubber grommet. As stated before, give yourself some slack by removing the reservoir strap. |

Yeah this job sucks. First time I did it I was pulling from under the car while a friend was guiding from the top.
Second time I did it myself, again from under the car. Once you get the trick its not hard. But until you figure that out, it really sucks. Zach |
