The American Le Mans Series will be at Sears Point the weekend after next.

I'm planning on being there all day Friday, Sat afternoon and watching the race from home.

Anybody coming out to watch the big boys play with their expensive toys?

I love the sound as they accelerate out of turn 7. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif)

ALMS at Infineon

I may head up for the weekend. Dont forget ALMS season finale at Laguna Seca this year. The new Porsche Prototype is likely to be unleashed at that race. A little more about the new Porsche:

ALMS races are ~60 bucks for full pit passes for the weekend, IIRC.

We won't make the Infineon event, but will be there camping at Laguna Seca for the Porsche LMP2 Cali debut. Let's Party. Last year we had the first night racing in a long time and it rained.

You will not see the Porsche LMP2 car here, it debuts a little later this season and definitely will be at Laguna Seca in October..
