Dave's wheel bearing thread reminded me of these pictures I found on another site.
The guy was doing 70mph in a Hyundai Santa Fe when this happened. He said he didn't hit anything. Attached image(s) |

He didn't really give any other details. His lawyer probably told his to keep his mouth shut until after they settle the suit. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

Paul, When I saw the first photo the back of the spokes reminded me of the back of my Revolution RFX spokes. Uh-oh! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) I know you used to use them, too.
Did you ever hear about the RFX wheel failure that a guy with a VW Rabbit/Golf had at Road Atlanta a couple of years ago. It was discussed on the PP board but then all went quiet, I guess while the legal issues were dealt with. I wonder what ever happened concerning that? |
