I had a TPS trace board made so I could use my spare 1.7 TPS on my 2.0.
Why? I guess just for fun. Also seems like there are more 1.7 TPS' out there than 2.0; but maybe it's just my imagination. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I've only tested the TPS a couple times. Seems to work okay and recognizes idle allowing ECU adjustments. What do you guys think? stupid idea? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I know there's quite of bit of rotation in the idle calibration, so I'm having some new ones made that are more centered and have a bit more refined "0-1" traces. Also not shown is an angled 5(4) pin connector adapter to fit the length of the 2.0 wiring harness. |

Are you able to get the wiring/connector to fit with the airbox in place?

So, OT diversion: I love looking at pics of other owner's engine bays. I always see interesting stuff going on. So, a few observations about these pics.
Top Pic 1. Is that a brass throttle cable barrel bolt? Nice. 2. FI boots not looking great, watch out for water ingress. 3. No vac advance port on the TB, 74 or later? Mid Pic 1. Yep, 74 or later, vac advance hose lying disconnected. 2. Interesting hose fitting on the air box "nose" Bot Pic 1. PVC plumbed to the air box and not the plenum? No vacuum for scavenging. 2. No decel valve? I'm going to start another post with pics of my engine bay and solicit for others to comment and post pics of theirs. |

We make the 1.7 (both versions) and the 2.0 boards. Let me know what you need.
