Is it a early 70-72 car or later because the doors were different.
If it's a later door, when you remove the panel, you will see on the window mechanism a 10mm bolt acting as a stopper for height and that you can play with. I think it,s covered in every reference manual such as the Haynes. If it's early, sorry I don't know, but someone will. |

it's the late door then...
take the door pocket off, pull the plastic off of the window handle, unscrew the screw, pull the crank, pull the pad (carefully--there are plastic tab thingies that could get pulled out of the board) and you'll see the 8mm (or 10mm) bolt upside down...actually i believe it's double nutted, you can't miss it... use the crank to lower and raise the window.... while you're in there, i did some lubing of the track and what-not with some lithium grease.... OH and check the plastic door cam... |
