1.625" mb911 (914-6werkshop.) stainless headers with heat. I don't think he makes them anymore, and imo they are basically the best option for 914-6 headers.
I ended up going with 3.8L motor and ITBs, and had to go up to 1.75" headers. These have ~30 minutes of dyno time only - car was never driven with them. $3209.14 + shipping (or you can pick up) from 92024. -Steve Attached image(s) |

Man these were great when I was doing them. Never could make them cost effective with my contractor at the time. They should have been 5k a set

Why does one box have access holes for the barrel nuts while the other does not ? 1 5/8 " ID suitable for up to what displacement ? |

Why does one box have access holes for the barrel nuts while the other does not ? 1 5/8 " ID suitable for up to what displacement ? It was part of the design change to make mirrored headers. The guy I hired as my contractor at the time refused to do them the traditional way after doing a few hundred sets and this was the middle road but actually had a better collector than the traditional collector so it was change for gains and compromise. Still the best heat exchangers ever made. 4 years ago January was the end of that product line. |
