For Sale:

Never fired Microsquirt ECU with an array of sensors and components to upgrade your type 4 engine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

A while back I had started the Microsquirt conversion of my 2056 but the project got halted by my still on-going (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) shell restoration. More recently, I acquired a 3.2 six that I will be using for my build so I am moving on and offering this to the next interested World member! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This thread below explains my whole process and where I stood at the time of stopping. A lot of research was done here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) and on Shoptalkforums (they have pretty good info there too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)) to determine which components to select.

Thread: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...=342361&hl=

If you are looking at doing this project, I believe this is a good starting point where a chunk of the work has been done. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

All part listed below were acquired new and prepared/installled per build thread, but never ran. I will refer them as new in my list below unless otherwise indicated.

List of the kit's content:

- New Microsquirt ECU (Dub Shop)
- New Short MS cable harness (Dub Shop)

This is a pretty cool kit!

Swap the 3/1 bar sensor for application.

This will work as is in waste spark but if you modified a distributor to become a "cam sensor" this would work sequential as well.

That's a nice and tidy coil pack; the wires are kick ass!

Nicely done Montreal! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

If I was still planning on a T4 I'd buy this (and I'm a cheap bastard).

Looks like more than 1K of stuff if you pieced this together...

This set up can easily adapt to modern injectors if desired.

This will support ANY T4 build, Wimpy or Wild!

GLWS!

Thank you Ninja!

FYI, Microsquirt is waste spark only. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Although I don't have knowledge in this, I am not a fan of the distributor trigger driven stuff (conceptually). It could have been an option, but I preferred the precision of the crank trigger wheel. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunglasses.gif)

@Montreal914

Bring that tomorrow to the swap meet.
That may go on my 2056.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dammit man...

I get it, I get it. But dammit.

EDIT: Eric was a key help in getting my design going (see link in sig) and I was hoping he'd get it all together for himself. I'm disappoint. But if I can help the next guy along, do let me know. - GA

@GregAmy

I know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) i was sad preparing this add this morning. I don’t like to leave unaccomplished project… (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

At least I had fun getting to where I was and sharing with you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
I can only build one car and it looks like it’s going to be a 3.2. Pretty scary for a just a amateur like me but there is a lot of great help here! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

I take it your microsquirt conversion is still running like a champ! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sunglasses.gif)

Thank you for chiming in! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
