Well finally I have come to the realization that I can’t keep all my 914 stuff. Lots of project cars I have, there just isn’t enough time to turn these dreams into reality. So I have for sale my incredibly clean 1976 track prepared chassis. In 20 years it is the cleanest chassis that I have ever laid eyes on in Ontario Canada. I did get some records with it. The car was built in and around 1996 and was prepared at that time as a full GT six track car, running a hot rod 3 L . I have a copy of the title out of Colorado. The tub shows no sign of crash damage anywhere on the chassis. The rear suspension points have been heavily reinforced. The flares appear to be an AIR products. I have many pictures of this chassis after it was media blasted, and then epoxy primed.
I reached out to some senior members here at the world, trying to establish a value. It was suggested that this chassis would have a value of 7k usd.So let’s start there.
I do have a truck and trailer and certainly can look at getting the car either into the US or perhaps we can work out a deal to bring the chassis directly to the buyer. Hi Todd, this chassis is very intriguing. I'm interesting in seeing more photos. Do you happen to have any of the suspension ear reinforcements and under the hood?

Todd, my 914 to 914-6 GT Tribute was a wore out track car (not full race) I had auto-crosses and tracked for 10 plus years. Then I removed part of the cage, added the factory steel flares, 2.2 E with S pistons, PMOs etc. and the results came out great. MarkAttached Image Attached Image

Here’s an idea…….cut a portion of the cage out.Weld in a donor bulkhead and firewall and put this back on the street. That’s a lot easier than the never ending rust/panel replacement when you open up rusty longitudinals……..just a thought.

Up until I left Colorado, he used to do my machine work for me. He still had that race car in his shop, complained that no one wanted to pay a reasonable price for it, so he kept it. Of course he was no longer racing it, he was darn near blind. When I went back to Colorado last year, I was going to stop by his shop and it was all closed up. Out of business. Not sure if he was still in Pueblo or not, but he was an interesting guy.

Not to revive a dead thread, but I've been working my way through the entirety of Excellence magazine's volumes, and Mark Mehalic (same guy?) made the cover of the November 1996 issue with a Carrera 4S racecar he built for Daytona that year. At that point, he was living in AZ . . .
