I'm going to step up and offer to head up a Pacific NW Ramble this year. I'm thinking that this doesn't need to compete with a SoCal event. We can have both. Julie and I
studied our calendar and came up with the weekend ending with September 14th. Yes, that means 9/14 will be celebrated as part of the weekend.

The date might conflict with Ockteenerfest, but I think very few people would
attend both (except maybe Mark).

So take a look at your calendar and see if there's a big conflict I'm missing.

914s look better in the rain!

Sounds great! Is that the RRC time slot? If I can help, I will. May actually have a house in North Bend by then.

Thanks for stepping up! Your 2019 914 50th Anniversary event was fantastic and I'd love to do it again. I'll help wherever I can.

I would love to be there, but 9/14 is always reserved for Red Rocks Classic and if there is a conflict that is where I will be.

I'd love to attend an event on the west side and that date should work. Edit - turns out that date does not work. Wedding for a friends daughter that weekend in Montana.

Well, that didn’t last long. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) I looked at my calendar and we are booked on a vacation trip that weekend. I don’t think my plans will change. Maybe as we get closer, the date might change. I would love to do something with the local gang closer to midsummer so we can enjoy great weather and a long day out having fun with the local 914 community. Where ever you hold it, make it someplace other than the greater Seattle area. Traffic is shite 7 days a week.

How about the north end (Anacortes!) Then I will bring my water cooled tail dragger.
Some great roads around Bow, Whidbey etc!

We have penciled this into our list of events for this year.
I would be concerned if I have enough time off available but I am retiring in July so I might have the time.

Should we do a traveling weekend where we drive someplace and spend the night and then travel somewhere else?
Or
I find a hotel that we use for out of towners and we circle back to it every day
And
Do the local want to stay at a hotel with everyone else or drive home every night.

I’m thinking we’ll be doing southend roads one day and north end another

I'm just north of Seattle. I'd be up for 1 night stay over somewhere, possibly two, as long as the drive back home isn't too long.
