After selling my 74, 6 conversion, 2 years ago...I found myself hopping on a plane down to Charlotte NC to relieve fellow world member Don C of his 1974 1.7 powered 914. Just got finished with the paper work, meeting Don and his lovely wife. Next, onto trek 7 hours up through VA to my home in MD. Fingers crossed we both make it without any issues. More to come...

Looks like a good starting point!

I PREFER white over all other colors.

Now, it should be pearl metallic as well.

Yes, I know, not a 914 color...

Funny bit. I ran the maintenance side of a Z32 Nissan Z specialty shop in the late 90s

The one color we could NEVER get "on the lot" was the white pearl versions.

Customers would buy them off the transporter or sight un-seen.

The very best car (concours level) was a screaming fly yellow 93 Twin Turbo manual.

It was PERFECT!

No-one would even look at it...

Silly people!

Good to have you back!

Nice find! Road trips like that are always fun. We bought our 914 5 years ago and drove it 1,000 miles home.

Nah! Two biggest costs are a clean 914 and engine. All the conversion stuff is pocket change!
