How can i remove the mesh grill from the engine lid, it looks lite those snap on bits are not-removable ?? Need to refinish that assembly

There are many ways but one is - with regular pliers, just squeeze the keepers in half and again @90*. they will fall off. You'll need replacements as these are one-time-use. 914Rubber.com usually has em.

Now where to find replacements as they get destroyed in removal. Couldn't find them in the PET. Couldn't find on 914 Rubber, but scored on McMaster Carr (SS push nuts) Barefoot |
