Ok, the guys at EASY said there are 3 lengths:
Early 944 Later 944 Auto trans 944 Still need part numbers and year 944... I need a combination that ajracer used on his Boxster QUOTE I purchased new 944 turbo axles and had a local racer give me different length 944 axles which mated up to the Boxster tranny six bolt flange and my 944 stub axles (with spacer) and early 911 hubs. (I think that's how it went together) The C/V were from 1987+ model year 944Turbo. Pelican: Complete Axle Assembly, Manual Transmission Only, 924/944 All (1977-01/85), Each Brand: Loebro, 477-501-103-M60 $256.25 Complete Axle Assembly, Manual Transmission Only, 944/S/Turbo, (02/85-87), 924S (1987-88), Each, Brand: Loebro, 944-332-038-01-M60 $242.50 Complete Axle Assembly, 944 Turbo (1987), To Ch# 95HN151524 (Replace in pairs), 944S2 (1988-91), Each, Brand: Loebro, 951-332-038-02-M60 $227.25 |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Andy Andy, forgot to mention this is for the 5 speed Boxster transaxle. Each are unequal length so two of the above mentioned axles will fit according to ajracer. I'll have to measure the lengths before I drive up to EASY if Tony has reinstalled the drivetrain... |

IIRC the 944 early/ late and turbo were all the same. THe stub axel is different on the early/late cars. The autos were shorter. I know the turbo axels will fit n/a, not sure if they were beefier or not.
