all--

In checking the doors, I only had a 4 ft. straight edge...

Front and rear align with the door edge, but there appears to be a curve to the door front to back.

Is this the case? it is very slight and I am sure that I can blend it so it is smooth.

This door had been hit and creased in the lower rear. plenty of filler later, the front and rear match up pretty good. i am also blending in flairs also.

can someone run out and check with a 6 foot straight edge?

many thanks.... see picture for before....

After making several sets of fiberglass doors, I can tell you they are not straight. There is a curve to them. Hard to see really.

I have been getting mine ready for paint, so I have been sanding mine with a 4' level. I find that they are pretty much straight, but all the panels seem to curve in a bit when you get near the edge or seem. I think that is due to the way the metal was stamped out.

Thanks!

I saw the slight bow also and was wondering if I should sand it out...
I think I will leave it in...
