I was driving home from work on Wednesday and got into a
wreck. I was stopped waiting to turn left on a two lane
road and a guy who had been WAY behind me slammed into me
from behind. He was driving a Ford Econoline van, so
needless to say, my car received most of the damage.

The body on my car was pretty close to perfect before that -
no rust or dents to speak of. I'm afraid the insurance
company will want to total it. I haven't really had much
time to drive it after fixing it up.

Do any of the Albuquerque guys know of a good body shop?

I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks.

Yeah I'm ok. A little whiplash, but nothing crazy. I'm
bummed about the car though.

Getting rear-ended seems to be one of the biggest types of accidents for 914s. I'm tempted to rig up something like this when I finally get my car on the road.

Sorry about the car. Glad you are ok but....where were you a few weeks ago when we all got together at O'Brien's place in Rio Rancho?? Would have been nice to meet you. Perhaps at the Atomic Ramble with your freshly repaired & repainted car? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
