Realized today that my original heat exchangers are toast, they seem to be ready to fall off next time I go over a bump! Please let me know if you have a good used pair of them, I'd prefer stainless steel since I'm in rainy Seattle. My car is a 72 1.7, does anyone know if I can use ones off another model? I'ver heard conflicting things about it.. Let me know if you have any and how much $$. thanks!

Samba VW site has a set of 1.7s on it. Poke around there and try Ebay too. Always see used stainless ones there.
