Does anybody know an approximate price for machining valve guide bosses for dual valve springs? I contacted three local places and I got three very different quotes ($100, 300, 500).

Thanks in advance

'Bout an hour of machine work, should cost $100 or less. I used to do it for $75.

The problem is that I do not trust the place that quoted me $100. Other than rimco, where is a good place to have it done? I have nothing against rimco- just looking for options- preferably closer to Ohio.

Does Larry's Offroad in Dayton still do machine work?
They had OK prices in the 90's
