Helo everyone. I need to get a second opinion other than mine. I have a 1970 914 with a 1.7 case and 1.8 pistons and heads I have no clue of the cam.
I set the valves at .006 ex and .008 in. Will I be ok? I would like to start the car tomorrow and was was wondering what should I go by 1.7 or 1.8 recomendations for valve adjustment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) ps The car is carbed. Thanks in advance. |

I think the settings are all the same.. .006 for all 914 engines... and yes you'll be fine at .006 or .008
