Here she sits in the driveway waiting to go to the muffler shop, front end on, just about a whole car. I think its time to change my avatar again. I actually like the way it is coming out.

Not yet, it goes to the muffler shop probably tomorrow to get the exhaust system installed. I didnt want to piss off my neighbors. Do you think if I make it quiet enough, that anyone would be intimidated by it? I want to see the faces on the Carrera's and Boxters when I blow them away.

You know what they say... speak softly, carry a big stick. I'm sure it will be plenty intimidating sounding. You need to push down on the ass-end a few times to settle that ride height. |

The rear ride height is due to the 180 pound progressive springs. I am not sure what to do about it just yet. Maybe it will settle after I drive it a little.

Andrew I think its the picture that makes it look tall, the creeper barely fits underneath the car. How tall is a creeper? Its not very high off the ground. Joes car in the driveway is about the same height and its a stock 914. I just measured it, the front spoiler is 4 inches from the bottom to the ground and the back of the rocker is just under 8 inches. Measure yours and let me know what it is. Now you got me curious. |

Looks great! It ain't tall. You'll need that extra bit when the ass settles under acceleration! Make it quiet, even a quiet one strikes fear into the opposition when you blip the throttle.
Think you'll be able to bring it Saturday? |

Ok, I measured mine..
bottom of my rear bumper (haha, like that makes a diff to you) 14 in. I have my rear rocker thingy off. bottom front of fender, ie rocker pannel, 6.4 or so in top of fender 23.5in (keep in mind average diameter tire is like 25in.. Do you have like a one in spacer in your rear shock/coil assymbly? I had one in mine... took it out.. looks great. Andrew Im pretty low, keep that in mind. |

Looking good Scott! I voted on color in your poll. I like the solid blue idea. Any solid dark color on a Chalon kit would get my vote over a grey or silver.
Mrs. K, I hope I can bring my wife to WCC 2005 and you and Scott both attend as well. I think you and my wife would get along great. |
