Does anyone know if I pull the heater controls out, if I could move my radio over?
Heat doesn't work, due to no heat exchangers, and lack of hookup to the controls. I have a remote for the radio, but I would much rather the radio just be closer. I know the whole is a different size and what not, but is there clearence behind it or no? Thanks in advance. - Brett Smith |

No, it's less than 6" deep. Stereos need 7".

IIRC, if you cut that section you're cutting into the fresh air blower and the back of your stereo would get very wet all the time. These cars don't have "dead space". You can almost never "just cut" because there's always something else in the way.
