Is there any intrest in a WCR caravan from the SF Bay? I most likely will trailer mine.

I plan to arrive on Thursday afternoon.

Anyone interested?

Mike, I was thinking the same thing. I can't bring a ice chest in the teener. What time you thinking of leaving? 10:00 or 11:00am? Let me know John

Some time around then. We can pin it down as we get closer. Along with a good meeting place. I think the Thursday activities are limited to drinking, eating and bullshitting.

Anyone else heading down on the East side of the bay? San Jose? SF? Oakland?

Still waiting for an answer from my boss on the days off. Someone else already requested the same days (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) . At this point it sounds like I'll have to work at least till noon on Thursday.

I may be doing a Saturday day trip as well, as long as it is not raining. Since things start up at 9:14AM, we need to leave between 7:30 & 8 Am to get there.

Are you guys planning to go over 17 and down, or 101?

Just don't go slow enough to worry about idle!

I'll be heading down from Sacrameto sometime on Thursday but the timing will be up in the air for awhile. My wife may have to work but we don't know for sure. So I maybe adjusting my departure to accomodate her schedule or I maybe on my own?

Will be driving my truck down (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I'm down for a Saturday caravan!! I'm in Union City and can meet wherever. I'll have a small tool box and the AAA card as well.

Unless it's raining. Then I'm out. hahaha.

I am planning to go to WCR just for the Saturday (Apr 28th) drive, unless it rains. Anyone want to rendezvous in Campbell at the Home Depot on Hamilton to caravan? Meet in the parking lot. Lets leave promptly at 7:45am to be in Marina by 9am.

Watch the speed on Hwy 17 especially on the south side of the summit, the bears are on patrol.

I can meet there Saturday morning.

As an alternative we could meet at Los Gatos Town Plaza Park. (about 5 miles farther down 17)

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Los+Gatos+To...mp;t=h&z=18

It is right at the base of the Santa Cruz mountains, and there is an on-ramp a couple hundred yards away. (coffee shops just across the street)

Either way. (I will not be going if there is rain as well)

Someone suggested to take 17 to summit rd to soquel that spits out onto hwy1. Beautiful drive.

Looks like we're staying in Santa Cruz Friday night. I'd like to latch on to the Sat AM Caravan in Santa Cruz and head to the start point for the tour (vs. Marina). So, 8:15'sh through SC? Anyone bringing radios?

Randy, I'll be staying in SC Friday night also (since you can't beat free as a price) so I can meet up to head over....this is all assuming my 914 agrees:)

That's cool Brett! My cell is 707.529.7860, so let's text or chat the night before and plan on meeting somewhere in SC where we can meet up with the group Sat AM. It'll be good to see you again! It's been a long while.

Cheers,
