Only post here if you are interested adding Getty CF parts to your car.

Indicate if you are interested and please leave your name. We need five people to commit to the (914) lids, you only need to buy one. I will submit the names to Neal on Friday afternoon.

I think I've made it clear that, if I can see some detailed pictures, I will be in for a set.

Since I've already spent $1300 for an unseen set that didn't make me happy, I'm understandably unwilling to commit to another unseen set.

So, I'll say again, show me some detailed pictures. I'll buy both decks.

I could potentially be in for a set. Who has these? Do they fit right? Is there an option to get FG instead of CF?

Here is the thread with the details.

I don't need any CF lids, so my commitment or not would not affect whether or not the deal happens. I called to get a price on a getty 911 style dash, but Neal was not in. I was told he may not be able to get back to me until Monday. Once I get a price I will make my decision and post it here.

Aren't group buys great? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Make sure you're comparing equivalent lids, some fiberglass ones are just skins that have to be pinned in place (no provision for hinges or latches)

HEY JOE,
I was just wondering what the problem with the GT Racing hoods was. I got the impression that you liked them when you posted your first pics a while back. Just curious.

The CF lids are just like stock in their physical appearence and can be used with stock hardware. With the discount you are paying about the same for FG, that will have to be pinned.
